Metaxourgeio in Athens has varied safety profiles. It is important to stay in the right area of Metaxourgeio. The area between Iera Odos and Avdi Square is lively and safe, known for its active nightlife.
From Avdi to Karaiskaki Square, caution is advised due to the presence of brothels, though it’s not severely dangerous. The area around Plateia Karaiskaki towards Omonoia, especially near Agiou Konstantinou, is sketchier with a noticeable drug user demographic.
