There is a small playground with a sandpit at Park Leopold, the park where the museum is located.
Museum of Natural Sciences
Museum of Natural Sciences is at the other side of Park Leopold and is pretty great for kids of all ages. There is a section with dinosaurs and it is quite interactive for kids

Not far is also Park Cinquantenaire, with a bigger playground with a sandpit and two more museums (see below). If it’s summer, there is a pop-up bar and we love spending time there. It’s not right next to the playground, but there is lots of green space around
Royal Museum of Armed Forces
Royal Military Museum is a military history museum with medieval armor and tanks. There is also an aviation hall (kids love the airplanes and they can even enter a few!) and access to the top of the Cinquantenaire arch with a panoramic view.
