Autoworld

AutoWorld is a wonderful place for people fascinated by cars and transportation. Located in Brussels, Belgium, AutoWorld is a museum that showcases vintage and modern cars, ranging from classic sports cars to iconic vehicles from film and television.

When visiting AutoWorld with kids, there are no activities or interactive exhibits to keep them engaged and excited other than some kids corners at occasional temporary exhibitions. Kids can see the various cars on display and learn about the history of automobiles.

Every year, hundreds of beatles come to the Esplanade of the Cinquantenaire Park. Keep an eye at the site of Autoworld for the exact date, it’s usually around mid-February every year.
Is Autoworld Kid-Friendly?

AutoWorld may not be as suitable for young children who enjoy hands-on exploration and touching exhibits. While there may be some interactive displays and activities for children sometimes, most areas of the museum do not allow touching or close contact with the cars and exhibits.
Parents and caregivers should consider their children’s age and interests before visiting any museum or attraction. However, AutoWorld can still be a fascinating and educational experience for older children interested in cars and transportation.

- The Train World museum offers a unique look at the history of trains and railways, with interactive exhibits and activities for kids. This is less geared toward younger kids compared to the previous two.

- Parking: on the streets around with a park meter. It is no longer allowed to park at the Esplanade, unless you are a person with reduced mobility (you have to register at the barrier, also better call the museum in advance)

Located in the city center, Parc du Cinquantenaire is a great park for relaxing picnics and strolls.
A must-see attraction within the park is the iconic Triumphal Arch. Visitors can also explore the fascinating museums located within the park, such as Autoworld, the Royal Military Museum, and the Art & History Museum.



Cinquantenaire Park is an excellent spot for families with kids, as it offers not one, but two playgrounds for little ones to enjoy.
The larger playground has a massive sandpit with a dragon. Meanwhile, the smaller playground has wood chips and is much smaller.

The Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and Military History is a military history museum with medieval armor and tanks; there is also an aviation hall and access to the top of the Cinquantenaire arch with a panoramic view!
