  • Fifth Avenue (Quinta Avenida) Shopping & Dining: This pedestrian street is packed with restaurants, bars, and shops. Prices are highest near the beach—walk a few blocks inland for cheaper local food. Try El Fogón for authentic tacos al pastor.
  • Cenote Azul Entry & Tips: Just 20 minutes south, this open-air cenote costs about 150 MXN ($7.35 USD). Arrive early to avoid crowds, and bring cash—credit cards aren’t accepted.
  • Ferry to Cozumel: The ferry to Cozumel costs around 320 MXN ($15.60 USD) one way and takes 45 minutes. The earliest departure is at 09:00. It’s a great day trip for snorkeling and diving.
