The Christmas tractor parades in Belgium are awesome events for kids. The tractors get festively decorated and the atmosphere is jolly. This is one of our most favorite traditions in this country, as our kids love Christmas and tractors – so what better than to combine them? 🙂

There are several Christmas tractor parades all over Belgium and they are great to visit with the family. The tractors are very Christmassy and the atmosphere is festive! These events are particularly kids friendly with many families attending them. Our kids are always so excited to watch the tractors going around and horning!
Practical tips for visiting a Christmas tractor parade in Belgium

These events are free! No need to register or anything (unless you have a tractor you would like to parade!)
Tip
It can be very crowded at the beginning. You can always find quieter spots along the route, if this suits your family better. Personally, we love being near the start of the parade!
Tip
You are basically standing at the pavement next to the street. Be prepared with warm clothes (and rain coats, if you are brave enough to go out in the rain for this!). Take the stroller with you, so that the little ones are kept warm and they can sleep if needed
