Relais de Falemprise is a great place in the area of Lac de l’Eau d’Heure to spend a sunny day with the family. There are jumping castles (and a water slide!), pedal boats, a lake to swim, a frituur with a huge sandpit near the lake
The jumping castles are lots of fun for the little ones! There is a water slide jumping castle and also a few small rowing boats in a tiny pool (check the pics to see what I’m talking about!)
The lake is not really nice to swim unfortunately, as there are ducks around that leave their mark. Also it is not ideal for young kids, as there is a slippery step to enter (see photo) and therefore the water is not progressively getting deeper from the shore. The other swimming zone of Lac de l’Eau d’Heure is a sandy beach, so in this aspect it is better. However, there were plenty of people enjoying themselves 🙂
We also really enjoyed going around on a pedal boat!
The restaurant is next to a huge sandpit, great for kids. The cuisine is open on specific times, take that into account so that you don’t get disappointed! It’s open 12.00-14.00 and 16.00-18.30 nowadays

It can be combined with Platte Taille, an area at Lac de l’Eau d’Heure with tons of activities around (like the Crocodile Rouge, a bus that floats on the water!), many signposted hiking trails and kilometers of stroller friendly paths around the lakes

It can be combined with Natura Adventure Park, where you can enjoy tree top courses (accrobranche), e-scooters and bikes, barbecue, bangee jumping and the highlight is… A zip line over the lake!!!
