The Lille Fun Fair, named Foire aux manèges in French, is perfect for kids with lots of attractions. This temporary fun fair is another good reason to visit Lille, the capital of the Hauts-de-France!
*Usually the spring fun fair takes place during Easter school vacations and the summer fun fair end of August
Attractions at Lille Fun Fair
We always enjoy the view from the Ferris wheel
There are a few rides that would be suitable for much older kids or adults
There is of course a carousel and other rides that are more suitable for younger kids
And also a few more fun rides
And some play areas that looked pretty cool
There are countless rides for younger kids with vehicles of all sorts – and we did our best to try them all 🙂
Practical Stuff
*Open: Usually the spring fun fair takes place during Easter school vacations and the summer fun fair end of August. You can find all relevant details here and on their Facebook page (usually the Facebook page is updated)
*Cost: well, you can easily spend a lot here, as each ride is paid separately – don’t say I didn’t warn you 🙂
*There is a restaurant right between Cita and Zoo Lille, also crepes and ice cream. You can also sit at one of the boats along the river!
*Stroller friendly, wheelchair friendly
*Dogs allowed on a leash
*Parking: outdoor, 500 places parking next to the Fun Fair. It is much better to go early, otherwise the parking is very crowded and you will need to wait for cars to exit for you to go in
