Navajo Bridge, Arizona

Navajo Bridge offers locals and visitors the chance to bungee jump at Marble Canyon, where they can enjoy stunning views of the state’s famous rocky landscapes. 

The 464-foot (or 141.5-meter) drop lies near the Grand Canyon’s north rim. It’s a four-and-a-half hour drive from Las Vegas: surely a worthwhile detour for serious adrenaline junkies. 

  • Explore Glen Canyon: After your jump, visit Glen Canyon National Recreation Area for hiking, scenic drives, and views of Lake Powell.
  • Drive from Las Vegas: Reach Navajo Bridge in about 4.5 hours from Las Vegas. Renting a car is the best option, as public transport is limited.

Macau Tower, Macau

Macau isn’t only about the sort of flashy casinos worthy of starring in a James Bond movie. Macau Tower is also home to the highest bungee jump on the planet. 

You can take the leap of faith during the evening, from 7.30 pm in summer or 6 pm in winter, when it gets darker earlier. The jump is 765 feet, or 233 meters, and was established by bungee legend AJ Hackett. Less brave souls can take the skywalk instead.

  • Try the Skywalk: If bungee jumping isn’t for you, walk along the tower’s outer rim with no handrails, secured by a harness.
  • Explore the Ruins of St. Paul’s: One of Macau’s top attractions, the Ruins of St. Paul’s are within a 10-minute drive from Macau Tower.

Kaivopuisto, Finland

The highest bungee jump in Finland awaits during summer at Kaivopuisto, in Helsinki. Each year, you can jump 492 feet – or 150 meters – at the Sky Breakers event. 

Various types of themed jumps are available, including snowboarding, pub bungee jumping, and jumps suspended over the ocean.

The Europabrücke Bridge jump is 630 feet – or 192 meters – high, and many participants say the experience feels like flying.

Nevis Highwire, New Zealand
