- Walk for 7 minutes to Parc Léopold (it’s downhill)
- Walk to metro Maelbeek for 10 minutes, take the metro towards Erasme for 3 stops, get off at metro Parc and walk to Mont des Arts

- If you want to do Schaerbeek, you can start from there and then take bus from Azalées stop to Schuman to go to the European Quarter
Royal Quarter – Mont des Arts
Mont des Arts

Royal Quarter – Other Locations
Place du Musée

Museum of Musical Instraments is also lit

Rue Baron Horta is lit

Royal Quarter – Cathedral of St Michael and St Gudula
The light show on the cathedral is worth watching

Strike a pose next to the cathedral – don’t miss it! It’s at the right of the cathedral, as you see it on the photo above

European Quarter – Parc Cinquantenaire
The arc of the Cinquantenaire is beautifully lit. I have to say, last year it was more impressive (check at the end of this post to see the past post)

Cinquantenaire makes up with the flowers though!

European Quarter – Parc Léopold
Light show on the Natural Sciences museum (the museum with the dinosaurs!)
Save this

There is also a light installation at Place Jean Rey next to Parc Léopold

The Royal Palace of Brussels gets all lit up! This and Mont des Arts were stunning

The light installations around Leopold Park and Park Cinquantenaire were amazing too. We found the light installation in front of the House of European History to be the most kids friendly. Also the cycling installation in front of the European Parliament was lots of fun!
