Bouillon Passerelle (young kids version)
-A short stroller friendly walk to see the beautiful suspended bridge over the Semois river
-The 55m bridge opened on 19.09.2020, so it’s quite new (and very useful to hikers!)
-There are many hikes passing through the bridge; this 2km walk is perfect for families with younger kids
-You can park at the small parking next to Abbey Notre-Dame de Clairefontaine. There is a small shop with biscuits, beer and cheese in the abbey. There is also possibility to stay there as a retreat for silence and peace (not very probable to target silence and peace with young kids though)

-Then you will walk for 1km until the bridge on paved road to the bridge
-There is a small sign near the parking for the walk and you can also use Google maps for navigation
-You pass by a BBQ place with a picnic table as well
-Stroller friendly, wheelchair friendly (although the last 30 meters is a steep downhill)
-Dogs allowed on a leash
-No toilets
-There is a nice 9km hike connecting Bouillon and Belvedere with Passerelle, but it is not suitable for younger kids (post coming soon)
-It can be combined with the castle in Bouillon, a walk around the city, ice cream and the playground next to the river
-It can be combined with the 4km hike Tombeau du géant. This is suitable for kids 4+ years old or in a carrier. It is not stroller friendly. You can also just drive to the view point in Botassart to see the panorama and skip the hike
-About 1 hour 50 minutes from Schuman, Brussels (or 4 hours by public transport)
