One of our favorite features of Tivoli is the petting zoo. Here, little hands can experience the joy of interacting with friendly animals in the “Cuddle Corner”. Between 15:00 and 16:00 every day in the summer, children are encouraged to get up close and personal with these furry friends.
Playgrounds
The playgrounds in Tivoli are specifically designed to cater to different age groups, with an enormous toddler section separate from an area for older children. There is so much space to run, jump, climb, and slide! It’s a sure way to guarantee a good night’s sleep for your energetic ones.
Kids Walks
What’s more, Tivoli also offers an exciting path named “Samen op pad” or “Together on the Road”. This kid-friendly loop around the domain will take your family on a delightful journey through the beautiful parkland. You can preview the map and download it directly from this link: Samen op pad.
For children 7 years and older, there’s the “Spotterpad”. This is a signposted forest path that begins just behind the café at the playground, perfect for mini adventurers who enjoy exploring.
Activities

Café and Restaurant in Domain Tivoli
Near the castle, there’s a café/restaurant to refresh your family with a variety of snacks and drinks.
You will also find a café with drinks and snacks right next to the playground.
Picnic Places
The domain also provides plenty of benches and picnic areas. These spots are conveniently located next to the playground and within the kids’ farm.
Accessibility
In terms of accessibility, Tivoli scores high. The park is both stroller and wheelchair-friendly. Dogs are welcomed too, provided they’re kept on a leash, with a separate area provided next to the greenhouse.
For parents’ convenience, there are wheelchair-friendly restrooms and baby-changing facilities located at the kids’ farm.

Opening Hours
The domain is open daily from 7.30 am until sunset, offering plenty of flexibility for your family day out. The petting zoo also has convenient hours: weekdays from 08:30 to 17:30 (16:00 during winter), and on weekends and public holidays from 13:30 to 17:30 (closed during winter).

There is free parking at Domain Tivoli. The exact location of the free parking is Eikestraat 62, 2800 Mechelen. You can also see the parking sign on the map above at the bottom of the map.

Just about 25 minutes drive from Schuman, Brussels, or about an hour by public transport, Tivoli Domain is the perfect destination for a day trip with your little ones.
