Ice skating is such a fun activity for the whole family! We thoroughly enjoyed our first steps on ice 🙂

It did seem a bit intimidating at the beginning…
…but in the end we all had lots of fun!
You can rent these for EUR 3 per hour in order to help you with your first steps on ice. There are also private teachers you can contact to help you get going (with appointment)
There is also a café with hot and cold snacks and a little chalet with waffles and hot chocolate
One of the sides is open, so there is fresh air at all times

*Cost: for 13- years old EUR 8.50 (EUR 4.50 without skate rental), for 13+ EUR 10 (EUR 6 without skate rental)
*Lockers for EUR 0.50 (not refundable)

*Covid Safe Ticket and ID required
*Kids need to wear shoes 23+ to ice skate

*Disco on Ice: every Friday 19.00-22.00
*Special 80’s and 90’s evenings every first friday of the month
*Christmas on Ice: every year the rink changes into a Christmas village on ice, with a kindergarten (for kids max 1m25 with skates). During Christmas holidays, the kindergarten is open until 18.00. Enjoy a gluhwein, Belgium Jenever, hot chocolate, home made wafels and other tasty goodies at our open chalet near the ice.
*There is also a café with hot and cold snacks and a little chalet with waffles and hot chocolate
*Stroller and wheelchair friendly until the rink
*Dogs are not allowed
*Parking: plenty near the entrance. You need to use the blue disc on week days
There is also a swimming pool at the sports complex, in case you want to combine these two!
You can combine this with the Georges Henri park and the playground there
About 10 minutes by car from Schuman, Brussels (or 15 minutes by metro, it’s just 3 minutes walk from metro stop Tomberg)
