Expeditie Bulskampveld: Provincie Domein

Expeditie Bulskampveld is a set of 5 expeditions for kids, with walks around the forest and lots of fun activities along the route. Expeditie Bulskampveld Provincie Domein is a 2.4km trail for kids with many fun and educational activities!
-The only expedition with a playground is Provincie Domein; the others only have play structures along the route. You can always finish the other expeditions with a visit to the playground and ice cream here (the link to the exact location of the playground and location of ice cream is further below):

-There is a Visitors Center in the castle. There are permanent exhibitions and temporary exhibitions as well. You can find their opening hours here:

-Behind the castle, there is a small herb garden (you might be able to see some chickens and rabbits too!) You can also buy their herbs in a vending machine there

-Next to the herb garden, there is a Bird and Wildlife Shelter. You can see some animals there too. If you find a sick or injured animal, this is the place to bring them

-Just 2-minute walk from the Visitors Center, you can find ice cream and dairy products at the farm Hoeve Colpaert. They are open every day from 14.00-18.00 except Friday and 10.00-12.00 on weekends. You can find the farm here:

-There is a cafe/brasserie next to the parking:

-De Kijk Uit is also an outdoor sports center/bar/brasserie where you can do kayak, canoe, pedalo, SUP, BMX, a ropes course, and more. It is 10 minutes away by car. You can find more details here:

-You can combine it with the other expeditions: Wingene, Kruiskerke, Nieuwenhovebos, Menas (posts coming soon)
-These expeditions also make a good stop on our way to the coast
-About one hour drive NW of Schuman, Brussels (or about 2 hours by public transport)
