Aqualibi with Kids | Tips for Your Visit

Aqualibi has water slides, a wavy pool, and a kids’ area. It’s open all year round and just half an hour from Brussels!

Tip
This is the best option if you’re looking for a proper water park close to Brussels. The kids area is pretty great! Plan to spend the whole day there 🙂

Plopsaqua Hannut-Landen

Plopsaqua Hannut-Landen is an indoor water park with an outdoor water play area for kids. It’s about 35 minutes from Schuman, Brussels.

Tip
This is a great option for a sunny day, as there’s an outdoor area too!

Plopsaqua De Panne

Plopsaqua De Panne, Belgium

Plopsaqua De Panne is an indoor water park with water slides and water playgrounds for kids located 1.5 hours from Brussels. Next to it is Plopsaland, the amusement park. You can stay at the Plopsa hotel, which has themed rooms.

Tip
This is great if you’re on the Belgian coast and looking for a fun indoor activity.

Center Parcs

All Centerparcs offer day tickets for their indoor water parks. There are play areas for toddlers and younger kids, water slides for older kids, crazy rivers, and more!

Center Parcs De Vossemeren

Center Parcs De Vossemeren is perfect for kids with a big indoor water park and a huge indoor playground. Indoor water park, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, farm for kids, activities.

Center Parcs Erperheide

Center Parcs Erperheide is suitable for younger kids. It is smaller than Center Parcs De Vossemeren, so it’s a good choice for toddlers. Indoor waterpark, indoor playground, activities

Center Parcs Terhills

It has only a small indoor pool with a slide and an outdoor pool, not a water park like the rest of Center Parcs in Belgium. There is also a cable park with an inflatable aquapark, where you can book a session for an hour. While it lacks in kids’ activities compared to the rest of Center Parcs, nature around there is beautiful.

Tip
This is a good option f your kid is still very young and you don’t need a proper water park. It’s much quieter!

Tips

Keep in mind that in most pools you will need a bonnet (swimming cap).
At most pools only tight swimming suits are allowed for boys and men (short or long, but tight, not surfer’s style).

Espadon

Espadon has a small shallow pool for kids in the back with a few play structures. Great place for toddlers!

You need a bonnet to enter (swimming cap, they also sell these at the entrance).

Lago pools are also pretty great. They have play areas for kids and some have an outdoor area as well.

The closest Lago to Brussels is Lago Grimbergen and Lago Lier.

LAGO CLUB Grimbergen Pierebad

We absolutely love this swimming pool near Brussels! It’s great for all ages. The indoor pool has a play area and a couple of water slides.

The pool is also accessible for all!

At the cafe there are some play structures for little kids too.

Provincial Domain Halve Maan

Halve Maan is one of the best provincial domains: playgrounds, animals, mini cars, mini golf, kayaks, pedal boats and a huge, shallow outdoor pool with a playground for kids (and waterslides!)

Provincial Domain Kessel-Lo

Kessel-Lo has an amazing new water playground and an outdoor HEATED pool. The other playgrounds are great too and there are some farm animals as well.

You need to reserve for the pool in advance!

‘t Soete Dal

‘t Soete Dal is a family friendly outdoor swimming pool with a playground for all ages. There are also animals to pet (ponies, alpacas) and a restaurant by the pool. This is about an hour away from Brussels

Oostduinkerke

This heated outdoor swimming pool has a smal play area for younger kids. It is right next to the beach of Oostduinkerke, where you can rent carts and have fun at the small playground. Oostduinkerke is also home to the Shrimp fishermen on horseback, a tradition for over 500 years that you can see only in Oostduinkerke nowadays!
