Ranking first on the list is Qatar Airways. Based in Hamad International Airport, Qatar Airways operates over 260 aircraft and serves over 170 destinations worldwide. Skytrax has recognized Qatar Airways as having the World’s Best Business Class and the Best Airline in the Middle East. Additionally, Qatar Airways is the first airline to receive an industry-standard certification against illegal wildlife trafficking in aviation.

Singapore Airlines

Landing second place on the list is Singapore Airlines, based in one of the Best Airports in the World, Changi Airport. Known for its iconic cabin crew called Singapore Girl, who don sarong kebaya, a traditional Asian Batik pattern, Skytrax has recognized Singapore Airlines with the World’s Best Cabin Crew. The airline operates over 180 aircraft and was the first to fly the world’s largest commercial aircraft, the Airbus A380. It is also the Best Airline in Asia and was named the Best Airline in the World in 2023.

Emirates

Next on this list is Emirates, which is based in Dubai. Emirates operates over 260 aircraft and serves over 150 destinations across six continents. The airline is known for its luxurious in-flight entertainment, with Skytrax also awarding Emirates with the Best Airline Inflight Entertainment. Emirates is also ranked the Best First-Class Airline in the Middle East and is known for sponsoring various sports teams like football, basketball, and cycling.

All Nippon Airways (ANA)

All Nippon Airways, or ANA, ranks fourth on our list. Based in Tokyo, ANA operates over 240 aircraft and has been ranked as a five-star airline by Skytrax since 2013. ANA is recognized for its Best Airport Services and Best Airline Staff Service in Asia, providing excellent service and comfort for its passengers.

Cathay Pacific Airways

Ranking fifth place is Cathay Pacific Airways, based in Hong Kong. The airline operates over 180 aircraft and serves more than 92 destinations worldwide. Skytrax also awarded Cathay Pacific as the World’s Best Economy Class and World’s Cleanest Airline. The airline’s hub, Hong Kong International Airport, was ranked the third Cleanest Airport in the World in 2024.

Japan Airlines

Japan Airlines, ranking sixth, operates over 230 aircraft and has hubs at Tokyo Narita and Haneda Airports, which are highlighted in Skytrax’s Cleanest Airports in the World. The airline was previously awarded the World’s Best Economy Class and has maintained a five-star rating for over seven years.

Turkish Airlines

Seventh on the list is Turkish Airlines, based in Istanbul Airport. It operates over 370 aircraft and serves over 272 destinations, making it one of the airlines that serves the highest number of countries. Also recognized by Skytrax as the Best Airline in Europe and the Best Airline in Southern Europe, it is Turkey’s main flag carrier.

EVA Air

In eighth place is EVA Air, based in Taipei-Taoyuan. EVA Air operates over 83 aircraft and is known for its Best Premium Economy Class Airline Catering. Skytrax has awarded the airline five-star status for nine consecutive years. The airline focuses exclusively on international flights.

Air France

Next on the list is Air France, based at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport. Air France operates over 220 aircraft and is celebrated for its service in Western Europe. Swiss International Air Lines
