However, in Southern Europe, the story is very different. In October, many Southern European countries still experience warm to mild temperatures.

Finding some warmth in Greece in October isn’t guaranteed, as many islands might experience lower temperatures—or higher if you are lucky. However, Crete and Rhodes are the exceptions, as they offer consistently high temperatures. In October, Crete offers travelers daily highs of 73°F (23°C).
